Hannah sat in the empty Auditorium thinking about her friends. "It's Faye's birthday tomorrow, Robyns the day after." She sighed, she was going to miss two of her best friends birthdays. She felt empty without them, she hadn't really laughed since she had left them, and she hadn't ever really laughed as much before she had met them. "They made me feel good about myself, wanted and happy." Hannah muttered sadly.

Gitsi smiled as she entered the Auditorium. She loved acting and mucking about on stage. Gitsi stopped for a moment to take everything in. Her eyes trailed over to a lone girl, who looked mighty depressed.
Slowly, Gitsi walked over to her, a concerned look on her face. "Are you alright," she asked quietly, sitting down next to the girl.

Hannah looked up suprised, she hadn't heard anyone enter. It was a moment before the suprise was over and she gave the girl a kind, but sad smile. "I'm ok, or, well, I will be soon enough. Just a bit of home sickness." It occured to her that she hadn't introduced herself "I'm Hannah, by the way." She hoped that she hadn't made a fool of herself. Thinking of her friends made Hannah realise she needed some.

Gitsi returned the smiled, and offered Hannah her hand. "My name's Gitsi," she said, "And don't worry, I know how homesickness feels, I shall always remember Poland," she grinned, "But remember the happy times, and of course you'll be able to go back."

Hannah smiled "Yeah. I'm allowed to visit my friends and stuff, I guess I shouldnt let that stop me from being happy. What did you do in Poland? I heard it had the best education system." She was really interested, and wanted to know more about Gitsi and her life. She twisted round a little in her seat so she was more comftable and could see gitsi better.

Gitsi smiled at the girl's enthusiasum and curiosity. It was delightfully refreashing, especially when the conversation turned to her home. "I suppose it is from some people's points of view," she replied, "Polish Schools are very fair, every student is equal, even the staff have to treat us with some respect." she laughed, "And I jope that's what we get here," she motioned to the school.

"Me too." Hannah agreed. Wanting equality for everyone was good in any person. "It seems nice, the fact that students dont feel looked down upon as much as they do in other places. I can't really talk about here, I just started."
Hannah smiled at Gitsy "It's nice to have someone to talk to."

Gitsi smiled and nodded, this girl seemed very nice and friendly. "I just came here too, but I'm looking forward to properly attending it." she glanced around the school, "And it was nice talking to you too. I haven't met very many people yet."

Hannah grinned "I haven't seen many people. Mostly because I havn't been out much. Didn't really felt like it. I'm ok now, I just realised theres no point being set on the past, it's nice to remember though." she pushed her glasses further up her nose as they were slipping down.

Pushing her hair off her face, Gitsi shot a smile in Hannah's direction. "I think good memories of our past is what keeps us mostly sane," she said whistfully, "So many bad things are happening in our world at the moment, it's essential that we cling on to something good." Her eyes became glazed over, they always did when she was thinking deeply.

Hannah nodded "Im just glad I haven't ever seen half the things I know and hear about. I don't think i'd be able to sleep!" She shuddered before sliding her glasses up her nose again. She looked up and gave a quick sigh. Turning back to Gitsy, fiddling with her earring she asked "Where do you think it all went wrong? I mean, theres alot of places where it got worse, the some places where it got better, then worse again, but what do you think triggered it?"

Gitsi was silent for awhile, her thoughts colliding with each other like blind insects. "One thing," she began, "one tiny, hardly noticeable event sets things off. People are so destructive in nature, that they leech onto small events, and out of them, create cataclysmic results. Humans will be at war with each other all the time, and then one day, the human race will be completly be wiped out."
Gitsi looked back at Hannah solemnly, "I fear for the future Hannah, it's looking very bleak."

Hannah sighed "Me to. especially if we carry on like this. tearing up the world without thinking properly, ruining our health, stupidly, without cause, the fact that celebraties get payed more for chasing a ball or singing than fire and police people get for risking their lives. It'll add up eventually, but will we be able to pay?"

Gitsi nodded, "Bad thing is, they make tons of money out of it, as long as it gives them wealth and power, they won't do a d**ned thing to stop it." Her eyes had dimmed, "No-one dares say anything, and the whole justice system is corrupt." She sighed and stared sadly at the floor.
